AMC Theatres “Best Picture Showcase” – Five Films, One Day!

I recently was contacted to participate in a very kool event put on by AMC Theatres called the "Best Picture Showcase" which takes place Saturday Feb 21st at select AMC Theaters and features the five movies nominated for best picture at the Oscars.

Besides promoting the event I plan to live blog while I am there (no shocker there huh?), as well as what I thought of the movies or which was my favorite. Should be a good time!

So you say you are interested in attending the event? Then head on over to the AMC website and see if there is a theater in your area participating in the showcase and then purchase the tickets online.

Now onto some details for the event:

Showtimes (Saturday Feb 21st)
(think these times are for kansas city so check with your theater)

* Milk 10:30 a.m.
* The Reader 1:05 p.m.
* The Curious Case of Benjamin Button 3:45 p.m.
* Slumdog Millionaire 7:15 p.m.
* Frost/Nixon 9:45 p.m.

Free popcorn with unlimited refills

Collectible Pass (which will let you come and go as you please)

Cost : $30 dollars or $25 dollars (for Movie Watcher club members)
