“Almost Locals Only” Podcast – Were No Schmucks

Its that time again for another episode of the "Almost Locals Only" podcast where we talk about the new movie releases, cinema news, dvd releases, what we watched, and then sometimes some random stuff is included.

This week our main discussion was on the new release 'Dinner For Schmucks" and joining myself was John from Lost In Reviews along with Shannon and Nat from FrothyGirlz.

Tweetdeck says “Ludicrous Speed GO!”

So yesterday Tweetdeck announced an experimental version of their app that would allow you to get your tweets in real-time using the new user streams API from twitter.

And its not only tweets that get the supercharged treatment. Other actions that are relevant to you are also brought immediately to your attention. For example, if someone follows you - WOOSH, it’s there. If someone favourites one of your tweets - BAM, straight into your Mentions. Oh and discovering new people to follow is made a lot easier with the addition of an option to see @replies from your friends to other people that you don’t follow. This is a big change from the standard behaviour where you only see replies to people that you actually follow.

Now it is limited to only 5000 peeps right now and they might already be gone but I would say if your interested go check it out and see if they have some left.

It is experimental so there could be issues. So far everything seems good on my end.
