There is another group in KC that is just for geeks. The Geek Culture Meetup. We get together a couple of times a month and do different things to try and meet the obsessions of geeks across the board. We have video game nights, movie nights, we go to gaming conventions and comic book conventions, movie openings, etc… It's a great group, a little something for all geeks.

Jeff, you might consider adding the three KC Core Groups -- all are sponsored by Adobe at a national level and TEKSystems at a local level (translation: Adobe schwag and local food!).

Which leads you to the three Adobe groups centering on different interests -- KCDevCore for developers (CF, Flex, AIR); KCWebCore (Flash, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, etc.); and KCDesignCore (all "visual design" Adobe tools). Each meets at JCCC once a month on different nights. Membership is free to anyone who junks out on Adobe technologies, or wants to!
