Stripping For CSS Naked Day – April 9th
Hey everyone I am gonna get naked! Oh I mean my site is gonna get naked. You see April 9th is CSS Naked Day when you strip your site and show its inner beauty.
Here is a description from the official site :
The idea behind this event is to promote Web Standards. Plain and simple. This includes proper use of (x)html, semantic markup, a good hierarchy structure, and of course, a good 'ol play on words. It's time to show off your <body>.
So there ya have it...check out the site and see whats up with CSS naked day and if you feel the urge go for it! 
Just a note for all you wordpress users there is a plugin you can use to automatically strip your css for ya. I installed it and am ready to go.

Evernote looks like a pretty kool service...I of course just got then invite and my account setup. they are in beta and I have a few invites so if you would like one either shoot me a DM on twitter or just leave a comment here on the post.
Here is a little video to get a rundown on the service that lets you capture information to remember for later via your computer, the web, and even your phone. pretty kool. It is like a backup for your brain.
Soocial – Hassle-Free Contacts
Let me start by saying I dont know much about the service Soocial but with a sweet ass promo video like this one I am willing to give it a try. It is in beta right now so if the guys at Soocial can hook me up or if someone has an invite reading this shoot one my way I will do some more investigating. For now enjoy this video...love it!

I went to techcrunch tonight to check out the story on Seesmic acquiring Twhirl. The story had some graphics throughout and the one with the twirl AIR app running had a familiar face as the most recent tweet...it was MINE!!!! I know nothing big but hey it was kool to see my mug up on techcrunch for the world to see hehe
wonder if I will see a jump in followers probably not but hey very kool none the less!!
Good People Day 2008
Gary Vaynerchuk of Wine Library TV fame has called for 4/3/08 be known as "Good People Day" where we talk about all the great people out there in the internet community.

The Photo Stream – News Thru Pictures
I found a kool little site called The Photo Stream this morning thanks to sarahintampa's recent post and thought I would share it with you all.
Basically what The Photo Stream does is give you current news stories (not sure what sources they are using) in the form of a photo that kinda relates to the subject. When you hover over the picture you can either visit the site with the news story or leave a comment on The Photo Stream.
Overall I think it is a kool little spin on getting some news and adding the visual effect so make sure you check it out and just as a side not they also have an rss feed which for someone like me is always a plus plus!

Chewbacca is here to stay!
As I have mentioned on twitter or my microcast our group here at work is getting ready to move to a new building and I have been cleaning out my current cube getting rid of stuff I am not interested in keeping or never use anymore. Thats where Chewie comes in to the story.
I had this Chewie Sucker that came with a holder (pictured above) that I decided I was gonna get rid of...it just sat in my desk and was like I will toss this it is really not doing anything for me...so with that I tossed him never to be seen again............
ok well maybe I would see him again Yesterday the cleaning lady who is always commenting on my star wars stuff in my cube comes by and says someone found this and I thought you would like it....WHAT!!!! He is BACK!!! haha He will not give up!!!!
I of course didnt say anything to the lady...was just like kool and put him on my desk...so now I am like well maybe I should keep him...was that a sign? I was thinking maybe I will give it to one of the ladies here at work for their kid or something.
So there ya go....thought that was a funny story about getting rid of something and it coming back to you anyways.
