NixNews – The Marriage of Linux and Social News

I am proud to announce the launch of a new site to the social news arena which is dedicated to all things Linux.  NixNews was created and maintained by my friend linuxchic who you might also know from the Alternageek Podcast which she co-hosts.

It is currently in beta and but linuxchic decided to release it in the wild to have people (linux junkies) test it out and find the bugs as we go....there are a few things here and there that are still being polished but the main jist of the site being news about linux is out there and ready to be voted on.

If you are familiar with other social news sites like digg or mixx then you will be right at home and ready to start voting right away.   With that said everyone jump over and get an account set up....lets find the best linux news out there for the masses.
