Last night I decided to setup a channel on irc [freenode] so that I could get some of my twitter friends togather just to talk about whatever cause we all know “twitter is not chat“.

Lets see we had linuxchic and dbobo from the alternageek podcast…we had ed roberts from the kc weather podcast….we also had angelchrys, mrgadgets, coreyharris, and bblboy54.

It was great times and I am thinking of doing it more often…best way to find out when a chat is going on would probably be via twitter, my microcast, or maybe even on here sometimes but I would say the best would be twitter so if you are not already make sure you are following me.

Right now we are setup at chat.freenode.net in channel #jeffisageek so jump on anytime as you never know when myself or someone else will be in there.
